SCP was launched in January 2015, with a strong belief in the underlying strength of the Indian economy and the growth potential of small and mid-sized businesses in India. The founding team consists of KKR, Goldman Sachs and Bain & Co alumni.
Heramb Hajarnavis is the Founding Partner of SeaLink Capital Partners and has a decade of private equity experience in India.
Prior to founding SeaLink Capital Partners, Heramb led KKR’s private equity investment efforts in India. Previously, Heramb was the Managing Director and Co-Head of Goldman Sachs & Co.’s Principal Investment Area in India. Heramb has also been part of Goldman Sachs in their New York, Singapore and Hong Kong offices. Additionally, he brings an operational perspective through his prior experience of being part of the senior management team at Centennial Communications Corp.
Heramb is an Aspen Institute Fellow and serves on the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Committee on Venture Capital & Private Equity. He received an S.B. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Karthik leads operational due diligence and post investment operational value creation.
Prior to co-founding SeaLink Capital Partners, Karthik was a Principal with KKR Capstone operating out of the Hong Kong and Mumbai offices, where he was involved with operations improvement projects across investments in India. He also co-led KKR’s Green Portfolio Program across Asia, and focused on driving profitable environmental programs in KKR's portfolio companies. Prior to that, Karthik was a Case Team Leader with Bain & Company in India where he was part of the founding teams of the New Delhi and Mumbai offices and focused on performance improvement, private equity due diligence and organization restructuring. He has also spent time with Goldman Sachs Investment Partners in Mumbai and with Capital One Financial in Richmond, Virginia.
Karthik holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay
Chief Financial Officer
Ravi is responsible for all fund related finance activities, finance and accounting controls and compliance matters.
Prior to joining SeaLink Capital Partners he served as the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer at India Equity Partners. His responsibilities included all fund related finance and operating activities, special situations, tax matters, finance and accounting controls and compliance matters. In addition, he was involved with deal support and portfolio support, transaction structuring, and also served as the nominee director on select portfolio companies. Prior to India Equity Partners, Ravi was a Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers/ RSM & Co. focusing on audits, tax and compliance matters.
Ravi is a Certified Chartered Accountant and received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
Chief Financial Officer
Rahul is part of the investing team.
Prior to joining SeaLink Capital Partners, Rahul was an Associate Director with Standard Chartered Private Equity where he focused on equity and structured transactions in both private and public markets across India and South East Asia. Prior to that, he was a Case Team Leader at the Monitor Group focused on growth opportunities for consumer goods, telecom, media, technology and public sector clients across Asia-Pacific. Rahul has also worked with Baring Private Equity Asia and Provident Capital Partners.
Rahul has a Bachelor of Computing in Information Systems and Entrepreneurship from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining SeaLink Capital Partners, Siddhartha was with Citigroup Investment Banking in Mumbai where he focused on mergers and acquisitions. Before that he was in the London office of JP Morgan where he was part of the equity strategy team.
Siddhartha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a post graduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Tina is responsible for all external facing communications for SeaLink Capital Partners.
Prior to joining SeaLink Capital Partners, Tina was leading corporate planning and strategy for Godrej Industries in Mumbai. Prior to that, Tina gained several years of experience in the United States and South East Asia. She was responsible for strategic planning and business development at Scholastic, in New York. She has also worked with McKinsey & Company in New York and Credit Suisse in New York and Hong Kong.
Tina has a Bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
